Annual Toys for Tots Drive

Our annual Toys for Tots Drive is something we look forward to each year. It always warms our hearts to see the out pouring of support from our friends and co-workers.

Mortgage Express Joins Annual Toys For Tots Drive

Portland, Oregon, November 28th — Mortgage Express begins its third annual toy drive for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation on Monday, November 28th. The Mortgage Express corporate office in Tigard will serve as an official toy drop site for Toys for Tots, benefitting local children in the community. Now through December 9th area residents are encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped toys for children ages 2-12. Each person who donates will also be entered in a drawing for a number of prizes, including an iPad, courtesy of Mortgage Express.
“Mortgage Express has always believed in building a strong community and supporting our neighbors,” said Kelly Ruhl, Human Resources Manager. “We help people purchase homes and see a natural fit with supporting the families who grow in those homes. We want everyone to have a happy holiday season and enjoy collecting toys for children who may otherwise receive nothing.” Mortgage Express will also be accepting cash donations for Toys for Tots for those who may not have time to purchase toys for the drive.
The Mortgage Express Corporate Office is located at 10260 SW Greenburg Rd, Suite 830, Portland, Oregon 97223 on the 8th floor of the Lincoln Tower near Washington Square Mall. Travis Neliton Moves to the Mortgage Express Corporate Office

Mortgage Express is pleased to welcome Travis Neliton to our corporate office located in the Lincoln Tower at 10260 SW Greenburg Road, Suite 830 in Portland. With over 8 years of experience as a lending professional, Travis proudly holds the designation of Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist. After helping to oversee the creation of our Beaverton branch, Travis comes back to the corporate office to serve his clients, with the In-House Lending Department just a few feet away.
Prior to his career as a lending professional, Travis served in the military followed by an 11 year career as an Officer with the Beaverton Police Department. A deep commitment to his community continues to follow Travis as he moves back to the I-5 corridor.
Travis and his wife Charity have two children, Karmen and Austin. The family is active in their church with Travis mentoring young adults through Young Life. Mortgage Express proudly welcomes Travis Neliton to our Lincoln Tower office.

Happy Halloween!

We look forward to Halloween every year! We have a blast celebrating Halloween by inviting our families to trick-or-treat around the office. Mortgage Express employees bring in different dishes for a company pot luck and we all hand out candy to the children in their costumes!
Here are just a few of the little cuties who came to trick-or-treat at Mortgage Express on Halloween.
Josh and Owen Burlingame. Both of Owen’s parents work at Mortgage Express! Josh works for Mortgage Express Lending, our In-House Lending Department, and Celia is a processor in our Portland branch.
Katie Paul brought her two daughters, Ava and Haley in to trick-or-treat. We also received a visit from Jack the Cow and Ella the Lion, Kelly and Mark Ruhl’s cute kids!
October went out with a bang! We are already looking forward to Halloween 2012!
